Dysport aims to smooth out facial wrinkles, such as crow's feet, forehead lines, and frown lines by preventing the formation of new wrinkles.
We prefer Dysport for the upper face as it provides a more natural look.
-
Common areas include the forehead, between the brows, commonly known as the elevens and around the eyes.
It can also be used to subtly lift the eyebrows and soften lines around the mouth, such as smoker's lines.
Dysport is also used to treat the neck bands to provide a smoother neck appearance.
Common Questions
What to look out for and the common questions regarding Dysport treatment.

Avoid touching you face, laying down flat or strenuous activities for the first 4 hours.
Avoid heat exposure, exercise, alcohol and other facial treatments for at least 24 hours.
Bruising is common and nothing to be concerned about.
-
It depends on the person but you can expect to see results in as little as 5 days with full results coming in after 14 days.
-
The most common area to inject is the upper face (forehead and glabella). This area typically requires around 90 units and would cost $306.
See the chart below for a breakdown of all the areas.

Units: Dysport typically requires 3x the units of Botox, but the effect is similar due to differences in formulation.
Onset: Dysport may work slightly faster, with results appearing in 3-5 days vs. 7-10 days for Botox.
Spread: Dysport tends to diffuse more, making it ideal for larger areas, while Botox is often preferred for smaller, precise areas.
Both are effective for reducing wrinkles; the choice depends on personal goals and provider recommendations.
We personally like the natural look of Dysport in the upper face and Botox for lower face and masseters. For a full face, we often use a combination of the two.
