  • You will arrive 30-40 mins before your session to apply topical numbing.

    Once nice & numb, we will take 4 vials of blood, centrifuge it and extract the PRF to apply during your microneedling treatment.

3 Microneedling with PRF Sessions

What To Expect

  • Pre-Treatment

    Avoid medication that can increase bleeding, such as aspirin, NSAIDs and vitamin E for at least 48 hours prior.

    Avoid alcohol at least 24 hours prior.

    Avoid using retinoids, topical antibiotics, or any products containing acids such as glycolic acid and salicylic acid at least 48 hours prior.

    Minimize sun exposure to avoid sunburns on the areas to be treated.

  • Day of Treatment

    If it’s your first time, we will go over your questions, the process and expectations in detail.

    Plan to arrive 40 mins prior to your treatment in order to apply a topical anesthetic.

    Come hydrated and have a snack 1-2 hours prior.

    Come ready with any and every question you may have. We’re here to answer them all.

  • Post Treatment

    Keep your skin clean and hydrated.

    Avoid sun exposure and apply sunscreen daily.

    Avoid applying makeup, retinoids and products containing acids for at least 48 hours.

    Skip strenuous activities for the first 48 hours to prevent excess sweating and irritation.

    Avoid hot showers and saunas for a few days as high temperatures can irritate the treated areas.

  • Healing

    Day 1-3: Redness starts to diminish, but you might experience some tightness and sensitivity. It's common for the skin to feel dry and for some flaking to occur as new skin begins to form.

    Day 4-7: Most of the visible redness and swelling should have subsided. The skin may still feel slightly dry as it continues to heal internally. You might start to see a more radiant and plump appearance as collagen production is stimulated.

  • Results

    Week 2 onwards: Deeper layers of your skin continue to heal and regenerate. The increased collagen production becomes more noticeable, and the skin’s texture and tone continue to improve.

    Month 1 and beyond: Full benefits of microneedling can be seen as the collagen remodeling process completes its cycle. However, the skin can continue to improve over the next several months.
