Dermal fillers like RHA can be used to achieve a variety of aesthetic goals:
Smooth Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Fillers help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines, and vertical lip lines.
Enhance Facial Contours: Fillers are used to add volume and define areas like the cheeks, jawline, and chin, providing a more sculpted appearance.
Lip Augmentation: Many seek fillers to add volume, definition, and symmetry to the lips, or to create a subtle, natural enhancement.
Under-Eye Hollow Correction: Fillers can improve the appearance of hollow or sunken under-eye areas, reducing dark circles and providing a more refreshed look.
Hand Rejuvenation: Certain fillers like Restylane Lyft can be used to restore lost volume in the hands, reducing the appearance of veins and tendons.
Restoring Lost Volume: As we age, we lose facial volume. Fillers can restore a more youthful fullness to the face, giving it a plump, hydrated look.

Dermal fillers are versatile and can be used in many areas of the face and body to achieve aesthetic improvements:
Lips: Fillers enhance volume, shape, and symmetry, or create a subtle, natural plump.
Cheeks: They restore lost volume, lift, and contour the midface, helping to define the cheekbones.
Nasolabial Folds: These fillers soften deep folds that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth (smile lines).
Marionette Lines: Fillers can reduce the appearance of lines extending from the corners of the mouth down to the chin.
Under-Eye (Tear Troughs): Used to fill hollows and reduce dark circles for a refreshed look.
Jawline and Chin: They enhance jawline definition and improve chin contour for a more sculpted profile.
Hands: Some fillers, like Restylane Lyft, can be used to rejuvenate the hands by restoring volume and minimizing visible veins and tendons.
Each treatment area targets specific concerns, and your provider will tailor the treatment to your unique goals.
Common Questions
What to look out for and the common questions regarding RHA filler.
-
Avoid touching you face, laying down flat or strenuous activities for the first 4 hours.
Avoid heat exposure, exercise, alcohol and other facial treatments for at least 24 hours.
Bruising is common and nothing to be concerned about.
-
Don't hate it or love it the first two weeks until the swelling has gone down and the filler has settled.
So, two weeks.

Typically, one syringe of filler is used for small areas like lips or under-eye hollows, while larger areas like cheeks or jawline may require 1-2 syringes.
So, for a single area like the lips or chin, it would be $650, but larger or more complex areas may cost more if additional syringes are required. Your provider will assess how much is needed based on your goals.
-
The longevity of filler treatments varies depending on the type of filler used, the treatment area, and individual factors like metabolism. Typically, hyaluronic acid fillers like Restylane and RHA last 6 to 18 months. For areas with more movement, like the lips, fillers tend to break down faster and last closer to 6-9 months, while fillers in less dynamic areas like the cheeks or under-eye can last up to 12-18 months.
Results also depend on how many syringes are used and your body’s natural rate of breaking down the filler.
We've had patients that have done their lips and its lasted 2+ years.

The RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) collection of fillers is specifically designed to adapt to facial movements, making them ideal for dynamic areas of the face, such as around the mouth and eyes. Here are the different types of RHA and how they are used:
RHA 2: Best suited for treating moderate dynamic wrinkles and folds, such as those around the mouth. It can also be used for lip enhancement to create subtle volume while allowing for natural movement.
RHA 3: Designed for deeper dynamic wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines. It provides more structure while maintaining flexibility in areas with frequent movement.
RHA 4: Used for adding volume to areas with more significant volume loss, such as the cheeks and jawline. It helps provide structure and lift while still allowing the face to move naturally.
Each type of RHA filler is used to achieve natural, dynamic results, especially in areas that are constantly in motion, helping to maintain a more youthful appearance without stiffness or over-correction.
